1948

Founding of the company

under the name Tooling and Chucks Factory. Start of production of bench and machine vises.

1950

Launching the production

of four-jaw independent chucks and self-centering chucks. Commencement of production halls construction.

60s’

Construction of two new production plants

in Bielsk Podlaski and Kolno. Factory employment and production increase by half.

1972

Implementation of the Electronic Computing Technology system

BISON is a pioneer in Poland in implementing ERP software for controlling business processes.

1988

The Tooling and Chucks Factory in Bialystok is becoming the world's largest manufacturer of lathe chucks

70% of production is exported to 54 countries. Largest recipients – USA, Germany, Japan, Italy, Great Britain and France.

1990

Adopting the BISON name

the process of privatization and transformation into the joint-stock company “Bison-Bial” begins at the Tooling and Chucks Factory. 1991 BISON becomes a joint stock company.

1997

Company ‘s privatization & ISO certification.

2006

Implementation and certification of the Environmental Management System

and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System currently operating under the name of Integrated Management System.

2008

Launch of the company's reorganization program

With a new management team and a new expansion program, BISON is starting a unique success story.

2010

Implementation of SAP system

in all areas of the company.

2012

Extension of the existing plant in Bielsk Podlaski

and increase the production capacity of the factory.

2013

Beginning of construction of a new main production facility

Three ultra-modern factories: for manual and power lathe chucks, a foundry and a hardening plant are created thanks to the EU GreenField innovation program.

2014

New company headquarters

as part of the development, the company moves to a newly built facility located in Białystok.
